A little about me...
I am 32 years old, currently living in Perth, Western Australia, and have just returned from Vancouver, Canada where I lived for the last 7 years.
I have a Bachelor’s degree in Film and Television Production and moved to Canada to experience the film industry there. Boy, did it open my eyes! I worked as a production assistant for 4 years and found I did not want to direct nor generally be on set but that I truly loved writing.
I’ve since written for independent video games, short scripts and stories and I’m currently writing my first novel, a romantasy inspired by Greek mythology.
I'm an artist who's learning as she goes
I started drawing as a hobby, for fun, only within the last two years. When I first had the idea for the fictional story for my mail club I thought: 'why not create art to go with it?'
Why not use the opportunity to grow and test my limits and push myself?
I’m still an amateur, self-taught, learning as I go through YouTube videos and Instagram Reels.
So, this is me, taking a chance but hoping that even as an amateur some people might still like my art enough that they would like it in their homes.
About my process...
I draw my illustrations in Procreate on my iPad. I pull inspiration and references from photos, walks in the park, tv shows, movies, books and video games.
Then I print my art at home, in my tiny office on my giant Epson printer.
Your order is put together by me and mailed to you. Every part of this process is touched by my hands.
I do not, and never will, support generative AI in creative spaces. All of my illustrations are made by me and I support human-made art, artists and writers.
